Turkic states' diasporas to discuss joint activities in Baku

Baku will host the first meeting of ministers and heads of organizations on diaspora issues in the member states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries on January 24-25, the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries (TurkPA) told Trend news agency.

At the meeting, organized by the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, members of diasporas of Turkic countries will discuss joint activities in the international arena on issues of common interest.

The meeting will be attended by the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Halil Akinci, chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibragimov, TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov and representatives of government agencies on coordination of activities of the diaspora in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
