Azerbaijani First Lady meets Founder and President of Advanced Development for Africa Foundation
Azerbaijani First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva met Founder and President of the Advanced Development for Africa (ADA) Foundation, Coumba D. Touré on January 14, AzerTac state news agency reported.
Mehriban Aliyeva expressed confidence that Coumba D. Touré`s visit would be successful.
With regards to the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the First Lady said that the foundation realized the projects in the educational and cultural spheres, as well as in solving the humanitarian and social problems and financial and medical support for the poor and people in need not only in Azerbaijan but also in the world.
"From this viewpoint, our Foundations` activity is similar," she added.
The First Lady noted the furture cooperation will be successful and bring satisfaction and added that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has great experience in implementation of various projects.
Coumba D. Touré, in turn, expressed her gratitude to Mehriban Aliyeva for the invitation and congratulated the First Lady on the successes of these projects.
Coumba D. Touré also voiced her pleasure with the fact that both foundations have the same priorities in their activity, and added that they will be proud of joint cooperation.
