Azerbaijani clerical leader makes proposals at Eurasian Islamic Council

Azerbaijan's clerical leader has outlined a number of suggestion at the eighth meeting of the Eurasian Islamic Council.

Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh chaired the meeting which was held on Wednesday. He said that it would be commendable, if opinion on issues of concern not only to the Muslim world, but all of humanity - the problems of cultural development of peoples and nations in a globalized world, the protection of the religious mentality will be expressed during the meeting, CMO told Trend news agency.

Pashazadeh noted the reasonability of Coordination Working Group creation in the Eurasian Islamic Council and made a number of suggestions.

He suggested that the working group, given the importance of expanding the fraternal Islamic relations and the national-moral values, organize regular mutual meetings and international events. These activities can be carried out in all member countries of the Eurasian Islamic Council.

Pashazadeh also considered it expedient to organize mutual assistance between religious entities in the resolution of various organizational problems in Hajj season.
