Azeri officers to participate in Turkish exercises
Azerbaijani officers and observers will take part in mine clearing exercises in the Turkish part of the Aegean Sea, Hurriyet newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The exercises will be held on November 5-15 with the participation of troops from the United Arab Emirates, Georgia, Qatar, Korea, Kuwait, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Oman. The exercises will involve warships from Greece and the U.S.
The purpose of the exercises is training the personnel and planning in the field of mine clearance.
