Turkish newspaper publishes article on Azeri independence anniversary

The Turkish Sabah newspaper has published an article on the 21st anniversary of the independence of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan's state news agency AzerTac reported.
The article`s author praises Azerbajan`s economic development. He says the country`s budget increase 10-fold, with the level of poverty dropping from 49 per cent to 7 per cent. He hails the government`s work to decrease unemployment.
The article highlights the Azerbaijan-Turley relations.
The author also praises the role of first lady Mehriban Aliyeva in Azerbaijan`s development.
"The first lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva is one of the architects of reforms in Azerbaijan. She has won the love of the people."
The author notes that Mehriban Aliyeva, head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as well as the UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador responds to every letter sent to her.
"The first lady pays much attention to ill people and schoolchildren. The large-scale works carried in Baku under her guidance in anticipation of the Eurovision contest in May of this year still remain the focal point of the public," the article says.
"The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has built 400 educational facilities over the past five years."
The article also hails the results of the second Baku international humanitarian forum.
"The forum was attended by former heads of states, representatives of UN and UNESCO, the winners of the Nobel award," the author said.
The Heydar Aliyev Center gathered nearly 800 foreign guests from 70 countries," the article says.
