ANKARA – Azerbaijanis and Turks conducted a joint protest in front of the Iranian embassy in Turkish capital, Ankara, on Friday.

The main purpose of the action was to protest against Iran's interference in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan.

Gathered in front of the embassy, about 300 people protested against Iran's economic and political support for Armenia who has occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands. In addition, the protesters expressed their protest against Iran's violation of the rights of 30 million Azerbaijanis to use their native language.
