A media training program for journalists from French colonies has commenced at ADA University, according to the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), Azernews reports.

The program focuses on comprehensive communication strategies to counter propaganda, disinformation, and psychological manipulation spread by deceptive media outlets.

“This initiative aims to enhance media resilience by equipping participants with practical tools to identify and combat false narratives, promote accurate information, and effectively counter disinformation tactics,” BIG stated.

As part of the training, journalists engaged in discussions on media challenges and exchanged insights on combating misinformation.
