President of Croatia sends letter of condolences to President Ilham Aliyev
Zoran Milanović, President of the Republic of Croatia, has sent a letter of condolences to President Ilham Aliyev over the plane crash near Aktau, Kazakhstan.
According to Azernews, the letter reads:
His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Dear Mr. President,
Following the tragic news of the loss of lives in the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane near Aktau, Kazakhstan, I extend, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Croatia and myself, our deep and sincere condolences.
At this difficult time for your country, as it faces a major tragedy, I kindly ask you, Mr. President, to convey our deepest condolences and solidarity to the families of the victims and all the citizens of Azerbaijan. We wish the injured a swift recovery and hope that the painful consequences of this tragic event will be overcome as quickly as possible.
Please accept, Mr. President, the assurances of my highest consideration.
