Turkic Scout Bloc established to unite scouts of shared heritage [PHOTOS]
The Turkic Scout Bloc was officially launched during the open session of the “Scouts of Turan” project, supported by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, Azernews reports, citing the federation.
This initiative unites National Scout Organizations (NSOs) from Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, and Turkey as founding members, with representatives from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan also present.
The Turkic Scout Bloc aims to foster collaboration among nations with shared heritage and traditions, aligning with the vision of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). It prioritizes three key initiatives: a unified Turkic Scout Badge Program, a regional Turkic Scout Jamboree, and support for emerging NSOs in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, with plans to include Turkmenistan.
Through these programs, the bloc aspires to connect young people across member and observer states, promoting leadership, cultural exchange, and unity. This effort reflects the shared values and collective spirit championed by the OTS.
