Earthquake hits Shamakhi district
On November 20, an earthquake was recorded in Shamakhi district, 14 km southwest of Pirgulu station. The earthquake was not felt, Azernews reports, citing the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republic Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The Center noted that the magnitude of the earthquake recorded at 05:50 local time was equal to 3.7 and the center of the earthquake was located at a depth of 45 kilometers.
