The meeting was attended by TikTok Vice-President for Public Policy Helena Lerch, Director of the Public Policy and Corporate Relations Department in Eastern Europe Sergey Sokolov, and the company's advisor on government agencies Emin Akhundov.
The Culture Minister Adil Karimli expressed gratitude to the TikTok delegation for taking part in the prestigious COP29 event hosted in Azerbaijan, stressing the importance of international cooperation in addressing global challenges.
A significant topic of discussion was the "#LearnOnTikTok" campaign, a competition that took place earlier this year with the cooperation of the Azerbaijani Culture Ministry.
This initiative proved to be a resounding success, allowing users to produce and share over 20,000 educational videos in just two months.
