Turkish Foreign Ministry congratulates Azerbaijan on National Revival Day
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended heartfelt congratulations to Azerbaijan on the occasion of National Revival Day, celebrated on November 17, Azernews reports.
In a statement shared on this historic day, the Ministry emphasized the significance of National Revival Day as a pivotal moment in Azerbaijan’s 36-year-long journey toward independence.
“We wholeheartedly congratulate Azerbaijan on National Revival Day, a turning point in the independence movement it began 36 years ago,” the message read.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs also celebrated Azerbaijan’s recent victory in the Second Garabagh War, which led to the liberation of the occupied territories. "We once again celebrate the triumph of our Azerbaijani brothers, who ended the occupation of their lands with the same spirit and determination," the statement continued.
National Revival Day marks a key milestone in Azerbaijan’s struggle for independence and sovereignty, a movement that gained momentum during the late 20th century. The day commemorates the efforts of the Azerbaijani people to reclaim their national identity and achieve full independence, culminating in the restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty.
