Mukhtar Babayev: Parliaments can play important role in solving climate change problems

Mukhtar Babayev said that stronger climate measures can be implemented by imposing both control and responsibility and by improving legislation.
"Parliaments approve national budgets and play an important role in making economic decisions. This is an important issue in building a world resilient to climate change. The safety and well-being of all nations is paramount. We would like that after returning home from the COP, you will be able to play a role in the organization of climate security policy in your country," he concluded.
