Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the
severe impact of conflicts on global climate challenges during his
address at COP29 in Baku, marking the Day of Peace, Relief, and
Recovery, Azernews reports.
He stressed that the externalities of conflict exacerbate global
climate problems and highlighted Azerbaijan’s commitment to uniting
nations around practical solutions.
“One of the main logics of the COP29 presidency is to bring
together all parties on this issue,” Bayramov stated and
underscored Azerbaijan’s collaborative approach.
“We are preparing solution-oriented ways out with different
countries. Therefore, I thank the partners for believing and
trusting Azerbaijan. Time cannot be wasted. It is necessary to turn
the statements into concrete actions,” he concluded.
