President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović, who participates in the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP 29), has visited the Heydar Aliyev Center, Azernews reports.
The distinguished guest received detailed information about the Heydar Aliyev Center, which is considered one of the rare pearls of world architecture.
It was noted that the center's activities are aimed at a comprehensive study and investigation of the statehood philosophy, legacy of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the ideology of Azerbaijanism.
The projects implemented by the center serve to promote the history, language, culture, and other national treasures of Azerbaijan in the international arena, as well as to support and develop various fields such as science, education, culture, healthcare, sports, ecology, and the economy.
President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović first viewed the official vehicles used by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev during his periods of leadership in Azerbaijan from 1969 to 2003.
Exhibits, photographs, and multimedia presentations reflecting different periods of the National Leader's activities during both the Soviet period and the years of independence drew great interest from the guest.
Jakov Milatović also became acquainted with the "Pearls of Azerbaijan" exhibition, which showcases rare artifacts related to the country's inexhaustible natural resources, ancient history, and cultural heritage.
It was pointed out that rare examples of ancient crafts, including the Azerbaijani carpet weaving school, are exhibited here and that original sound recordings of ancient musical instruments are presented. Visitors to the exhibition can also see various sacred books in different languages, along with displays of national clothing and ancient coins.
The President of Montenegro left the Heydar Aliyev Center with pleasant impressions.
