"Umid" Social Development Support Public Union organized a panel discussion on "Community-level solutions for irrigation and drinking water supply" at the National NGO Forum Pavilion located in the Green Zone within the framework of COP29.

During the panel discussion, ways to solve and prevent problems related to water scarcity were widely discussed.
The participants talked about the importance of technological innovations for efficient management of water resources, minimization of losses, and reuse of water. At the same time, the importance of strategies such as protecting ecosystems, educating the population about water use, and strengthening legal regulations in order to ensure the sustainability of water sources was emphasized. It was noted that these measures are the main steps for a long-term solution to the water shortage.
