COP29 launches "Daily Show" television in cooperation with Britain's Hi-Impact
From November 11, COP29's live broadcast of the "Daily Show" television program, prepared in cooperation with the British broadcasting company "Hi-Impact", will be aired.
The daily events of COP29 will be covered in the 30-minute "Daily Show" television program designed to attract the attention of the global audience to the UN Conference of the Parties, which will be held in Baku on November 11-22, which is the most significant event of this year. Also, world leaders, scientists, public figures, and climate innovators will be guests of this program, which will be broadcast in an innovative format.
Twelve episodes of the "Daily Show" program will be broadcast daily online in cooperation with 47 television studios, covering four continents, and millions of viewers will be able to watch this program free of charge. In addition, broadcasts will be uploaded to COP29's official YouTube and other social media channels after each day's broadcast.
The "Daily Show" program, broadcast for the first time in this format, was created in cooperation with "Hi Impact", a well-known agency and broadcasting company in the field of communication. The show embodies COP29's commitment to inclusivity by enabling an international audience unable to attend the conference in person to follow COP29 events in a unique format.
It should be noted that the program, which will be broadcast from a specially created studio in the Green Zone of COP29, will be hosted by Rosanna Lockwood, a journalist and international presenter with rich experience in the field of news and interview programs broadcast on TV channels in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He was the host of programs such as "News UK", "Prime Time with Rosanna Lockwood".
The program will feature prominent figures in the field of climate change as guest reporters, as well as bloggers who cover climate issues in order to reach a young audience away from traditional media. The tone and style of the show is designed to engage viewers from all walks of life on climate change. So the main goal of the show is to make the sometimes complex and technical climate debate accessible to a wider audience.
It should be noted that media and broadcasting companies provide opportunities for free broadcasting of "Daily Show".
