A meeting was held between the Office of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, Azernews reports.
A meeting was held between the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman) and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population on the topic of joint cooperation in addressing citizens' complaints and ensuring social rights more effectively.
The meeting was attended by Hidayət Abdullayev, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Aydın Səfixanlı, Head of the Ombudsman’s Office, as well as the heads of the relevant structural departments of both institutions and other responsible officials.
During the meeting, a wide exchange of views took place on issues such as investigating complaints received by both institutions regarding the provision of social rights, jointly solving problems in this area, ensuring citizen satisfaction, legal awareness initiatives, and several other matters.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that to ensure more effective cooperation in these areas, it is necessary to improve the existing information exchange between the institutions and to conduct awareness-raising activities on the promotion of human rights.
