CBA and bank executives discuss banking sector’s performance and COP29 goals
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) held a meeting with executives from various banks, convening under the wider Presidium of the Azerbaijan Banks Association, as shared by CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov on X, Azernews reports.
“During the meeting, we reviewed the banking sector’s results for the third quarter and discussed medium-term goals. Topics of discussion included the current macroeconomic situation, recent economic indicators, their impact on the financial sector, and feedback from the sector representatives,” Kazimov stated.
The meeting also touched on COP29-related matters, addressing the challenges ahead for the financial sector and outlining strategic actions.
