A high-level event on "International Aviation and Climate Change" will take place in Baku on November 20 as part of the COP29 proceedings, Azernews reports citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) will be kicking off in Azerbaijan, the decision of which was made at the plenary meeting of COP28 held in Dubai in December last year.

As COP29 approaches, Azerbaijan is mobilizing extensive resources to ensure a successful conference, with significant participation from global leaders and climate activists. The focus on climate financing and collaborative initiatives underscores the urgency of addressing climate change as a collective challenge. As the world converges in Baku from November 11 to 22, the collaborative spirit of COP29 will be instrumental in shaping the future of global climate action.
