Alternative energy to be used in ASAN service centers
On November 2, a presentation ceremony was held for the project "Transition to Alternative Energy Sources" at the "ASAN Service" centers, Azernews reports.
The event was attended by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan (ASAN Service), and Mukhtar Babayev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and designated president of COP29.
It was noted that initiatives implemented as part of the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World" announced by President Ilham Aliyev in 2024 are being carried out with special emphasis on ecological sustainability and green technologies. Additionally, Azerbaijan places significant importance on the goal of “Clean Environment and Green Growth,” which is the fifth priority of the 2030 National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development.
The project is expected to be implemented in all administrative buildings and parking lots of the "ASAN Service" centers soon.
