Further monitoring of transport management related to COP29 to be conducted
Ahead of the COP29 conference, monitoring of transport management continues in the capital to ensure the efficient organization of traffic, Azernews reports.
According to previous reports, monitoring activities for road transport will take place on November 3, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. These activities will be carried out in accordance with the transportation plan and routes for the event, covering major roads in the capital, including Heydar Aliyev Avenue, Zagulba Road, Narimanov, Khatai, Tbilisi, Builders, and Oilmen Avenues, as well as Teymur Elchin, Niyazi, Yusif Safarov, Mehdi Huseyn, Seaside, Zarifa Aliyeva, Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Kökbək Safaraliyeva, Bakikhanov Streets, and partially Independence Street.
During this period, drivers are advised to use alternative routes and public transport due to the traffic restrictions that will be applied on the mentioned roads.
The monitoring process, conducted by the COP29 Azerbaijan Operations Company, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Azerbaijani Ground Transportation Agency, will test the planned routes and traffic movement plans for the COP29 conference.
