Azernews reports that 600 Eldar pines were planted during the campaign, which was organized with the support of the Regional Development Public Union of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, IDEA volunteers, and students from the European Azerbaijan School.
Ganjlik park, established through the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, spans 43 hectares and features green belts, as well as recreational and entertainment areas.
Additionally, 20 squirrels bred at the Baku Zoological Park were released into the park as part of IDEA’s Urban Ecology project, which aims to preserve and restore urban fauna species. The release of the squirrels is intended to enable their natural reproduction within the Ganjlik park.
