The Ombudsperson of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva, who is on a visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with the faculty and students of Tashkent State University of Law on October 28, Azernews reports.

The meeting was also attended by Feruza Eshmatova, the Ombudsperson for Human Rights of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In her speech, Ombudsperson Sabina Aliyeva noted that during the observation of elections held in Uzbekistan, voter activity was observed, with a large turnout of people participating in the elections.

Aliyeva also informed the participants about her activities in the field of protecting human rights and freedoms. Additionally, she emphasized that reports based on fact-finding missions carried out during and after the Second Garabagh War, as well as on the human rights violations and hate crimes committed by Armenia during the thirty-year occupation of Azerbaijani territories, have been prepared and sent to international organizations, foreign ombudspersons, and national human rights institutions. Questions from students were answered in detail.
