Armenian crimes: Four years since another terror attack in Ganja

Four years have passed since Ganja city was subjected to a rocket attack by Armenian armed forces for the fifth time during the Second Karabakh War.

On October 17, 2020, at around 1 o'clock in the night, Armenian military tropps once again treacherously and cruelly fired at Javadkhan settlement in the center of Ganja city with Scout operational-tactical ballistic missiles.

During the attack of the enemy, the residential houses were completely destroyed, and the residents were buried under the rubble.

As a result, 15 people were martyred, more than 55 people were injured, and numerous civil infrastructure facilities and vehicles were heavily damaged. Minors, women, and the elderly are among the dead and injured.

In addition, on the same day - October 17, at around 1 o'clock at night, the Armenian armed forces fired rockets at Mingachevir, a large industrial city located more than 100 km away from the former contact line, targeting Mingachevir Hydroelectric Power Station, the largest thermal power plant in the South Caucasus. The missiles were neutralized by the Air Defense Forces of Azerbaijan while the one failed to explode by fortune.

To recall, during the Second Garabagh War, Armenian armed forces attacked the city of Ganja 5 times (October 4, 5, 8, 11, 17) with rockets and heavy artillery. As a result, 27 people were martyred, 175 people were injured, civil infrastructure facilities located in the city and vehicles were heavily damaged.
