Azerbaijani Minister responds to the baseless accusations of France and Armenia
At the 73rd session of the European Regional Committee of the World Health Organization held in Astana, Azerbaijan's Minister of Health, Teymur Musayev responded to the groundless accusations levelled against our country by the representatives of France and Armenia.
The minister noted that anti-terrorist measures were implemented in order to restore the sovereignty and constitutional structure of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to clear the territories of illegal Armenian military units, Azernews reports.
Representatives of various international organizations made a number of visits to the Garabakh region. The reports prepared as a result of these visits stated that there was no damage to any civil infrastructure, including schools and hospitals. The local population told the missions that there were no incidents of violence against them, as well as destruction of civilian and agricultural facilities.
T. Musayev emphasized that this issue was reflected in the reports of UNICEF and the Armenia office of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Also, in the statements made by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on September 21 and 23, it was stated that there is no danger to the civilian population: "All these facts once again prove that the accusations made by the representatives of France and Armenia are groundless."
