Japan provides ambulances for Azerbaijan
The Territorial Medical Units Management Association (TABİB) in Baku hosted the presentation of the project "Provision of Gazakh and Samukh districts with ambulances" realized under the grant support program of the Japanese government, Azernews reports, citing (TABİB)
The event was attended by TABİB Executive Director Vugar Gurbanov, Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada, directors of central hospitals of Gazakh and Samukh districts, and representatives of the beneficiary organization.
Within the framework of the project "Provision of Gazakh and Samukh districts with ambulances", a grant was allocated to the Public Association "Civil Society Development Support Western Resource" for the purchase of 2 Mitsubishi pickups and the modification of an ambulance.
A grant of 88,996 $ (150,404 manats) has been allocated by the Government of Japan to implement the above project.
