Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan: We highly appreciate Azerbaijan's work as NAM chairman
Uzbekistan highly appreciates Azerbaijan's role in the Non-Aligned Movement and the country's activity as chair of the organization and its activities in the development of the NAM, Azernews reports.

"Azerbaijan's chairmanship in the Non-Aligned Movement has given dynamism to the organization's activities through new initiatives on the part of the chairman," he said.
Most NAM member countries are located in territories that face major problems due to climate change, he said. NAM endeavors to develop through enhancing cooperation among the organization members in priority areas such as food security, energy, jointly tackling modern challenges, etc.
The Uzbek foreign minister stressed his support for the development of transport corridors, including the North-South corridor.
Azerbaijan opened 22 new companies in Uzbekistan in January-May 2023, according to the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan ranked ninth among ten countries that created new enterprises with foreign capital in Uzbekistan in the first five months of this year.
