By Trend
Press Secretary for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov urged Member of State Duma (parliament) Mikhail Delyagin to control emotions and not make unfriendly statements against Azerbaijan, Trend reports citing TASS.
“This statement was made as a result of personal emotions,” Peskov said while commenting Delyagin’s statement about the possibility of inflicting strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on Azerbaijan’s oil infrastructure amid the aggravation of the situation in Karabakh region.
“We would call to control such emotions and refrain from making such statements, especially towards our partners,” the press-secretary said.
The press secretary stressed that this statement does not correspond and cannot correspond to the Russian Federation’s official position.
