Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving the "Agreement on Trust Fund Project between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization".
The agreement for approval was signed in Paris on December 20, 2021.
According to the decree, after the enforcement of the agreement specified in the first part of this decree, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its provisions.
Besides, the decree has obliged Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry to notify the institution of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) about the completion of internal procedures necessary for the enforcement of the agreement.
