The anti-tank units of Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Separate Combined Troops Army are holding special training, considering the experience gained during the 44-day war in Nagorno-Karabakh in 2020, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry has reported.
As part of the training, the units have successfully fulfilled the tasks to destroy enemy military vehicles with an accurate fire, the report added.
At the first stage of the specialized training, practical firing was held on computers and simulators provided with special software in the Simulation Centre of the Nakhchivan garrison.
The field training of servicemen was checked at the second stage
of the sessions held to improve the tactical, technical, and
professional training of the military personnel, as well as to
improve their methodological skills.
During the ongoing training, the skills of personnel for occupying
the frontiers of deployment in the tank-threatening axes, as well
as for hitting targets at short and long distances with direct and
semi-direct pointing are being improved, the ministry said.
It should be noted that servicemen from the Separate Combined Troops Army in Nakhchivan took part in the Winter Exercise 2021 along with the Turkish Armed Forces from February 2 to 12 in Turkey's Kars.
