Modern military equipment for various purposes, delivered to Azerbaijan in accordance with the agreement on military-technical cooperation with Russia, was accepted into the armament by the units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan on May 3.

The Defense Ministry reported that all firings conducted with the purpose of testing the weapons and military equipment were completed successfully.

Russia delivered the military equipment and ammunition to Azerbaijan on April 26.

The Azerbaijani Army, which today is considered the most modern army in the Caucasus, consists of Air Force and Air Defense Forces, the Navy, and the Land Forces.

Today, Azerbaijani Army is one of the most powerful, highly disciplined armies in the world and the leading army in the region, which is equipped with modern military machinery.

The skills and combat readiness of the Azerbaijani army are growing year by year, as the country’s Armed Forces regularly conduct military exercises. The army building process in Azerbaijan is progressing as well.
