Construction of four more centers of "ASAN Service", Azerbaijan’s leading e-Government institution acting on behalf and in cooperation with other state entities in public service provision, launched in 2017.
Inam Karimov, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan , announced about this on April 26, adding that new centers will appear in Guba, Sheki, Imishli and Mingachevir, APA reported.
Currently 11 centers of "ASAN Service" provide citizens with more than 230 services by 10 state bodies and private companies, according to Karimov.
"So far, the centers have rendered services to 15 million people. The level of satisfaction of citizens is 80-100 percent," Karimov said.
First ASAN Service center was established by the presidential decree in 2012. The Service provides venues for state agencies to render their services in a uniformed and coordinated manner. Until 2018, the state plans to launch ten more centers in the regions of the country.
The service could reduce extra expenses and loss of time for many citizens, upgrade the level of professionalism, ensure a larger use of electronic services and increase transparency and strengthen the fight against corruption.
The coverage of ASAN Service system was expanded in different fields through "ASAN Visa", "ASAN Qatar", "ASAN Komunal", "ASAN Pay" mobile application, "ASAN Volunteers" and "ASAN Radio", which is the first and only radio channel dedicated to government services sector.
ASAN Visa, the portal of getting simplified visas to Azerbaijan (www.evisa.gov.az), has already started operation. The portal enables to receive e-visa in three steps within three days.
Citizens of 81 countries will be able to take advantage of ASAN Visa system, which will make life for many foreigners wishing to visit Azerbaijan easier.
"ASAN Kommunal" is established to optimize management and enhance transparency in providing services to the population in utilities. Azerishig, Azersu and Azerigaz companies offer a total of 45 services at the center, which also provide banking and insurance services.
“ASAN Pay” is a multifunctional payment system that enables the electronic delivery of administrative penalty decisions to citizens and electronic payment of administrative fines and those required by the enforcement of court decisions.
