Winter refuses to leave Baku [PHOTO]

The calendar shows that the spring is just around the corner, but February does not want to leave without setting record low temperatures.
Residents and guests of Baku woke up to a thick blanket of snow outside on Friday morning, following snowstorm. The city is covered in nearly a foot of snow.
Unstable weather conditions were also observed in the regions, according to the National Department for Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
Amount of precipitation hit 1-11 mm in Baku and Absheron peninsula, 2-9 mm in Greater Caucasus, 4-6 mm in Nakhchivan, 3-35 mm in Lankaran-Astara region, 1-13 mm in Central Lowland regions, 1-7 in Gazakh-Ganja region.
