An amazing parade of vessels was held in Baku Bay to mark the State Flag Day, Trend Life reported.
The event was organized by the Sailing Federation of Azerbaijan to honor this public holiday traditionally marked on November 9.
The state flag of Azerbaijan represents a rectangular panel consisting of three equal horizontal bands colored blue, red, and green, with a white crescent and an eight-pointed star are centered in the red band. The ratio of the flag's width to its length is 1:2.
The Sailing Federation of Azerbaijan (was established in 2000.
The federation aims to support the development of the sailing sport in Azerbaijan and to increase the interest to this sport by means of its promotion among the population of the country.
One of the main priorities of the Federation is to prepare and train the country’s national team and to ensure its participation in international competitions.
