Water level rises in local rivers

The water richness holds 150-270 percent of decade norm in Quba-Khachmaz region rivers of Major Caucasus.
In Minor Caucasus rivers, the water richness holds 150-250 percent, 10-50% in Lankaran-Astara region rivers, the National Department for Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources reported.
On September 30, 4cm fall in water level was issued in Giragkesemen settlement of Kura river. The water consumption holds 137m3/sec in the settlement, i.e 99% of decade norm (in 2015, 96,0m3/sec, i.e 69% of decade norm. 6cm rise in water level has been observed in Ayrichay settlement of Qanikh River. At present, water consumption holds 80,0m3/sec, i.e 83% of decade norm. (in 2015, 43,0m3/sec, i.e 45% of decade norm).
The rise of water level has been observed in the downstream of Kura River. In this regard, 23 cm in Surra, 4 cm in Salyan, 8 cm in Banka, 22 cm rise in Novruzlu settlement of Aras.
The water level holds 498cm (on September 30, 2015, 320cm) in Surra settlement, 329cm (on September 30, 2015, 130cm) in Salyan, 249cm (on September 30, 2015, 158cm) in Banka, while 215cm (on September 30, 2015, 33cm) in Novruzlu settlement of Aras river.
