PMs discuss development of Azerbaijani-Georgian ties

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade received his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Kvirikashvili, who visited Baku with one-day official visit on August 31.
At first the premiers had a face to face meeting, then the meeting continued with the participation of delegations.
Rasizade underlined that Azerbaijani-Georgian relations are developing successfully in all areas, including political, economic, and humanitarian fields. He noted that the visit of the prime minister and the negotiations will contribute to the development of ties between the two countries.
Touching upon the importance of preserving the international peace and stability, the Azerbaijani prime minister attracted the attention of visitors to the aggressive policy of Armenia. He reminded that the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has led to serious consequences in the whole region.
Expressing satisfaction with his Baku visit, Kvirikashvili, for
his part, noted that Azerbaijan is Georgia’s fraternal country and
strategic partner.
Speaking about the friendly and fraternal relations existing
throughout the history between the two peoples and countries, the
Georgian top official said that his government is committed to
deepen further relations.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
Previously, President Ilham Aliyev received the Georgian PM.
Kvirikashvili completed his visit to Azerbaijan on Wednesday.
At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Georgian PM was seen off by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov and other officials.
