The head of the Caucasian Muslims` Office, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has visited Chechnya to take part at the international conference dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the late president of Chechnya Ahmad Kadyrov in Grozny, Azertac reported.
In the frame of visit, president of Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation Ramzan Kadyrov received the Head of the Caucasian Muslims` Board, who conveyed warm greetings from the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Pashazade reminded details of the numerous meetings with the First President of Chechnya, the Hero of Russia Ahmad Kadyrov with whom they were friends. President Ramzan Kadyrov expressed gratitude for arrival, and said they wish to see President Aliyev in Chechnya.
Pashazade expressed hope the meetings of religious figures of both countries would promote mutual understanding in the Caucasus and serve the interests of both countries and states.
