Turkey notes Azerbaijan’s input in Ankara-Moscow relations

Azerbaijan made an important contribution to the normalization of relations between Ankara and Moscow, Turkey’s Ambassador in Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun told reporters Aug. 12.
Coskun said that apart from Azerbaijan, some other countries also made contribution to the normalization of Turkey-Russia relations.
Earlier, commenting on the improvement of relations between Ankara and Moscow, Turkey’s Prime Minister Binali Yildirim thanked Azerbaijan for its contribution to the normalization of relations with Russia.
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Russia on Aug. 9. It was Erdogan’s first visit to Russia after the crisis in the two countries’ relations and also after the attempted military coup in Turkey.
