Pashinyan claims Armenia is ready to restore ties with Baku and Ankara

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that Yerevan is prepared to take steps to restore relations with Baku and Ankara, Azernews reports.
According to Armenian media, Pashinyan outlined several key points regarding Armenia’s position:
- Armenia is ready to facilitate the safe passage of Azerbaijani cargo through its territory to Nakhchivan and Türkiye.
- All roads in Armenia are open to Azerbaijan, with three border checkpoint projects planned to enable Azerbaijani trucks and passenger cars to cross into Armenia en route to Nakhchivan and Türkiye.
- The necessary physical infrastructure is reportedly in place for trucks, and Armenia pledges to ensure the safety of cargo transportation.
- Yerevan has proposed that customs and other border control functions be handled by an international specialized organization on a reciprocal basis.
- Armenia suggests beginning railway transportation along the Zangilan-Megri-Ordubad route as a first step.
- Pashinyan reiterated that Armenia has never accepted any restrictions on its sovereignty, jurisdiction, or territorial integrity.
