Russian president’s press-secretary talks trilateral declaration on Karabakh conflict
By Trend
Press Secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov answered the question of how the Kremlin assesses the first days after the signing of the trilateral declaration to end the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Trend reports citing the Russian media.
"It is necessary to appeal to the military experts, but first of all, of course, it is necessary to take into account that guns are not used. This is the main result. People are not killed. This is the most valuable thing that can be."
Following over a month of military action to liberate its territories from Armenian occupation, Azerbaijan has pushed Armenia to sign the surrender document. A joint statement on the matter was made by the Azerbaijani president, Armenia's PM, and the president of Russia.
A complete ceasefire and a cessation of all hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is introduced at 00:00 hours (Moscow time) on 10 November 2020.
