Most COVID-19 infections in Azerbaijan associated with Omicron strain - expert

More than 90 percent of coronavirus cases in Azerbaijan are connected with the rapidly spreading Omicron strain of COVID-19, infectious disease specialist of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan Tayyar Eyvazov, Trend reports.
"Most active patients are in the outpatient department, and therefore the rate of hospitalization remains stable," he said.
