Formula One guests to enjoy colorful cultural program in Baku

This weekend, Baku will host the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe, sporting event which will be held in the country for the First time.
With a length measuring at slightly over six kilometers, the 20-corner track will be lapped 51 times, with cars reaching potential speeds of up to 340km per hour, marking the circuit out as the fastest street circuit on the existing F1 calendar.
During this weekend, Baku will also offer a great number of cultural events for foreign visitors and tourists, Trend Life reported.
The guests will be able to enjoy plays at the local theaters, where all plays will be presented with English subtitles.
So, the " Shah Ismail" opera by M. Magomayev will be premiered at Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre on June 19.
Then, the State Musical Theatre will present the performances "When destinies met " and "Golden wedding" with English subtitles.
Moreover, the State Russian Drama will present the plays "Masquerade", "Too married taxi driver" and "Don't Joke With Love" on June 17-19.
The State Theatre of Young Spectators will show young spectators performances "A cat in Boots", "The Landlady", "The Magic turnip" and "Fairy Magic".
The creative team of the Pantomime Theatre will present the play "Mankurt", "Tragedy man", "The finishing touch" on June 18.
Nizami Cinema center will showcase the feature film "The Illusion of deception-2", as well as the UEFA European Championship 2016 in France.
The museums of the capital will also operate.
