Solo exhibition of Azerbaijani artist Maryam Alakbarli opens at Carrusel de Louvre gallery
A solo exhibition of young Azerbaijani artist Maryam Alakbarli has been launched at the exhibition hall in Carrusel de Louvre, Paris, Azertac reports.
The exhibition opened as part of “Art Shopping” festival, and dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry`s “The Little Prince”.
Addressing the event, director of the exhibition hall Myriam Annonay Castanet provided an insight into the young artist`s works.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to France Elchin Amirbayov highlighted the importance of exhibition, and added that the exhibition was huge contribution to development of cultural relations between the two countries.
He underlined that Maryam Alakbarli`s exhibition, dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry`s “The Little Prince” reflected Azerbaijani youths` interest in French literature.
Art critic and organizer of the exhibition Jeanette Zwingenberger highlighted the uniqueness of Maryam`s works.
The exhibition also featured an Azerbaijani music by jazz artist Etibar Asadli.
The exhibition will run until May 29.
