Israeli modern dance troupe "Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company" will perform on the stage of the Heydar Aliyev Palace in Baku.

The performance of the modern dance program is organized under the framework of cultural events of the first European Games.

The concert program Blackout (Lullaby for Bach) will be presented to spectators on June 20 at 19.00.

The dance group was founded in 1970. Today, the team is one of the well-known Israeli modern dance troupes. The artistic director and chief choreographer is Rami Beer.

With its technically strong and physically eclectic cast of dancers and its dynamic sensibility, KCDC characterizes Israeli dance at its best and performs regularly in the most respected theaters and at leading festivals worldwide.

The European Games kicked off in Baku June 12 and will last till June 28.

There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.

Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
