Miss & Mister Azerbaijan-2015 named

The final evening of the National Beauty Contest “Miss & Mister Azerbaijan-2015” solemnly took place in Baku to announce the country’s most beautiful man and woman.
The event was opened with an interesting show, where all contestants walked on the stage with torchlight of the first-ever European Games scheduled for June 12-28.
During six months the participants took part in castings, qualifying round, semi-finals and finally reached the final. Before the final, the candidates had several trainings with the famous choreographer Tatiana Konenko. They also participated in numerous photo and video projects, gave interviews to the press, and became the guests of various television shows and events.
The final was subdivided in three rounds, where the contestants sparked with sport clothes, evening dresses and suits and classic clothes.
Natalia Sololevskaya was crowned Miss Azerbaijan-2015, while Elvin Mammadov became.Mister Azerbaijan-2015
The winners were chosen via online voting and points standing from 50 to 300, given by jury.
The jury included such famous figures as Anela Ordukhanova, the chairman of the organizing committee “Miss & Mister Azerbaijan”, Amil Abbasov, the executive director “Miss Azerbaijan”, “I Vice Miss Azerbaijan-2013” Khumray Gulamova, “Miss Intercontinental of Azerbaijan-2014” Lala Mammadova, screenwriter and actor Anar Khalilov, Rajani Chandra, the president of the International Women's Club, fashion designer, owner of the fashion brand SABABI Sabina Abisheva, as well as Zurab Kodelashvili, the deputy general director of the TV channel CBC, Kanan Agasiyev, On Premise Manager of Caucasus, Red Bull Company, Trend correspondent Vugar Imanov, Farkhad Haji, the Fashion Consulting Group director, freelance journalist Ruslan Aliyev and Sakhavat Garayev, the journalist of the first men's magazine “The Man”.
Other beauties that were competing for the first place were awarded in several nominations, I Vice Miss Azerbaijan-2015, Miss Press Azerbaijan-2015, Miss Universal Peace & Humanity-2015, Miss IMG-2015, Miss Caspian Travel-2015 and Miss Triumf-2015 - Nigar Ibrahimova; II Vice Miss Azerbaijan-2015 and Miss AKI-Inter-2015 - Afsana Gasimova; III Vice Miss Azerbaijan-2015, Miss CBC-2015 и Miss Lake Palace-2015 - Yulia Vajnina; Miss Baku-2015 - Elvira Guliyeva; Miss Photo Model Azerbaijan-2015 - Sakina Sariyeva; Miss Charm Azerbaijan-2015 and Miss Evian-2015 - Aynura Abdullayeva; and Miss Grace Azerbaijan-2015 - Saida Abdullayeva.
In “Mister Azerbaijan-2015” the following contestants were titled I Vice Mister Azerbaijan-2015 - Emil Mammadov; II Vice Mister Azerbaijan-2015 and Mister Press Azerbaijan-2015 - Ali Ismayilov; III Vice Mister Azerbaijan-2015 - Elkhan Huseynov; Mister Baku-2015 - Afgan Alekperov; Mister Photo Model Azerbaijan-2015 - Ali Agalarov; Mister Style Azerbaijan-2015 - Shahin Musazadeh; and Mister Sport Azerbaijan-2015 - Nizami Musayev.
"Miss Azerbaijan" National contests have been held in Azerbaijan since 1996. In 2014, Javidan Gurbanova, 24, was declared the winner of Miss Azerbaijan.
In 2014, the most beautiful girl was chosen by Azerbaijani citizens and foreign internet users via online and SMS voting on the official web-site of the contest (www.missazerbaijan.org).
Unlike 2014, this year, the organizers expanded the authority of internet-users, who had the opportunity to get familiar with photos and questionnaire of the participants, pretending to participate at the contest and evaluate their chances to the victory on the official page "Miss Azerbaijan" on the facebook social network (www.facebook.com/missazerbaijan.org) before the beginning of the first casting.
