Upcoming event to feature great Azerbaijani and world composers' music

A concert of the Azerbaijan State Symphonic Orchestra named after
U.Hajibeyli will be held at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall
in the capital Baku on October 24.
The orchestra will be conducted by Eyyub Guliyev. The soloists, People's Artist of Azerbaijan, Professor Ramiz Guliyev and Azerbaijani Honored Artist Farida Mammadova, will perform at the event.
The concert program includes compositions such as "Nasimi" (tragic music for the symphony orchestra) by F. Amirov; a concert for tar with the Garabaghname orchestra by S. Ibrahimov; "Tragic Overture" by Johannes Brahms; the vocal cycle "Five Songs to Texts by Mathilde Wesendonck" by R. Wagner, which will be performed for the first time; "Cecilia" by Johann Strauss.
The concert is due to begin at 19:00.
