The national final of the prestigious Red Bull Thre3Style World DJ Championship will be held at the Gala Bazaar in Baku on July 6, organizers said.

Azerbaijan's best DJs, including DJ Twist, DJ Seym, DJ Ed, DJ Ayzk, DJ Apple, DJ Amaori, DJ Rimas, and DJ Rasl, will vie for the right to represent the country at the world finals which will be held in Toronto November 4-9. The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan.

The DJs will be evaluated by three professionals of the music industry, including Dj Qbert, a famous American DJ, who stands out for his innovative and sophisticated methods of scratching, DJ Karve of France, who is the world champion of Red Bull Thre3Style 2010, and Dj Scream, one of the most sought-after DJs in Ukraine.

VJ Giorgi Mozgovoi will provide visual support of this unique event and MC Fame of Ukraine will host the show.

Red Bull Thre3style pits the world's best DJs in a competition that values technical skill as much as the ability to thrill a dance floor. Competitors are judged on the dual platforms of technical ability and crowd reaction, and are given just 15 minutes each to prove that they're the best in the room. Judges work to a strict criteria that also marks DJs on their originality in song choices, confidence performing and mixing prowess.

Thre3style's roots lie in Canada, but the idea behind the competition is global: get people dancing, keep the party vibes coming and up your game until you're the DJ that brings the perfect set.

This year, 24 countries will send a representative to battle on the global stage. From Azerbaijan to the USA, South Africa to Chile, Korea to Switzerland; whether their battling at a local or national level, all roads lead to Toronto and the chance to be crowned Red Bull Thre3style World Champion 2013.
