Information booths created for tourists

Information booths have been set up to render services to tourists during the Eurovision song contest being held in the Azerbaijani capital Baku this week.

The booths have been installed at the railway station, Baku International Sea Port, Baku International Bus Terminal and Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism told Trend news agency.

The purpose of the booths is to inform arriving visitors about Azerbaijan. A number of promotional and informational materials will be distributed among the visitors. These include a map of Baku, the schemes of pedestrian routes in the city, booklets describing cultural events, as well as hotel, restaurant and sightseeing guidebooks.

The 57th Eurovision Song Contest is being held in Baku Crystal Hall, built near the National Flag Square on the Caspian shore. The final of the contest will take place on Saturday, following semi-finals on Tuesday and Thursday.
