COP29 to stimulate interest of foreign students in Azerbaijani universities
Azerbaijan has brought its security to the attention of the world community by hosting international events. The representation of world countries in such events hosted by Azerbaijan is an indicator of the recognition of our country in the world. The holding of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Baku shows that Azerbaijan's economic development, independent policy-making, and security are at the center of the attention of the international community.
Azernews reports that Ramin Nuraliyev, an expert on specialty selection and career, education expert, said these thoughts in an interview with Azertag.
He said that Azerbaijan's hosting of COP29 will have a positive effect on the study of foreign students in our local universities.
"Official representatives of foreign countries coming to the event will want to cooperate with Azerbaijan in several directions, as well as in the field of education. Azerbaijani universities will be a good choice for foreign students who want to study in a safe country. Azerbaijan will exchange students with many of its foreign partners within the framework of Intergovernmental Scholarship Programs (HTP). In parallel, dual diploma programs between Azerbaijani universities and higher education institutions of foreign countries will be expanded."
